No sidekick or team. Can't work with other living people because he'll slowly kill them

Job: was uni student, helped with a (sleeping? death?) experiment to earn money.
He's not your normal moaning, limping zombie. He can think still, but he does not sleep. He can talk and all tat jazz, but doesn't eat or drink because main organs have stopped working (except brain).
